They have a better 3rd round pick. They don’t have a 2nd. We do and shouldn’t send them a 2nd.

Itll come down to which third rounder they want and I can’t inagine then taking the lesser

It'll be more than compensation. Landry will have some say over it as well, and it'll depend on working out a contract.

But yeah, the Bears very well could beat us. Both them and the 49ers have a lot of cap space.

You got this wrong.  The Bears don't HAVE A 3RD but do have their 2nd.

Anyway, they can also offer to swap spots in the first round with the Dolphins as well (8-11)

Dolphins would be smart to swap them in the 1st and 2nd* and get a future 3rd

that would really help them in search of a QB

They've been really interested in Mayfield.

I’m still not understanding the hesitation by fans if it’s a third rounder we send over. Front load a deal that pays him a lot of money and hope we win a championship in the next two years. Do you guys think this would actually hamstring us in signing Lewan or Mariota? Does anyone actually think a third round pick is going to be a better player than Landry? Does anyone think he doesn’t fit this offense? I’m not seeing why anyone would be against this.

Only reason is contract. He's a pisshead diva like his boy OBJ isn't he?

Landry isn't a diva at all as far as I'm aware.

He's a selfless leader type from what I've read. But maybe I'm missing something?

Maybe the lack of a state sales tax will help swing things in our favor. I’m good if Matthews is being used as trade bait. Then I’d offer a future pick in 2019. Landry is tempting due to the combination of his relatively young age and experience, IMO

I’ve read the exact opposite. From what I’ve read he’s the WR version of Walker, which makes a lot of sense with how much Walker wanted him on the team. His teammates love him, and he goes 100 every play in all phases of the offense.
