titanfan24
We all like Jon Robinson. I think JR is competent, bright, and done a thousand good things for this organization. BUT I’m starting to think that we are giving him a free pass for some crappy personnel decisions. Im not gonna dog him for Conklin because Jack is a good player......but we passed up a transcendent player in Jalen Ramsey and gift wrapped him for a division rival. We picked Kevin Dodd, who has been Kevin Duud for the last two years.....then this year we overdraft Corey Davis, who gets subbed out on the biggest play of the season by the corner we drafted 13 picks later. Hindsight is always 20/20 but there are some big misses in there.
Stan
I think Davis is getting to much dirt. He’s got 25 catches and he missed 5 games. Kevin White of Chicago has 21 catches in 3 seasons. I think we need to lay off Davis and let the guy go through a complete offseason.

Stan
Conklin looks so outta shape this year. I noticed him today he’s gotten fatter.
TerryBoats
What was the record of the Titans the two years prior to his arrival? Now compare that to the number of wins we've achieved since he's been here, with a coaching staff that's very far from ideal. People expect instant gratification, and I get that. But these young players require proper guidance, and to be put into a position to succeed in order to do so. They can't teach themselves to be good NFL players. As we have seen with Mariota, this staff is absolutely not capable of doing that. It seems that your are expecting perfection from the GM, which has never been achieved by even the greatest to hold such a position. Not even close. Especially if you judging him by first and second year payers under the tutelage of a coaching staff who have managed to reverse the development of our QB. His track record speaks for itself. The coaching staff has the talent to win games, just a low ceiling when it comes to the win total they are capable of achieving.
TitanDuckFan
I think last years offense would be winning more games this year if JRob had devoted the first round to defense. Byard, Searcy, Cyp, Ryan, and AJax along with White or Lattimore or Adams would have done more to win games. It's hard to say with Tajae out this year, but I think we'd be a better team overall, even with Decker in for Taj. And we'd still have picked up Jonnu and Taywan later anyway
kyle021
JR has been fucking phenomenal at GM we actually have a competent roster. Talent from top to bottom. Identity. We we just have a shit show coaching the offense. The whole Mularkey hire was all about continuity for MM and protecting him. Not on the field but also in the film room. Mularkey did that, but he’s not the coach to take it to the next level. Hirimg Mularkey avoided a 4th OC and 3rd HC in just two seasons for MM. ala Alex Smith. hes found his base with MM, found comfort, but now that comfort is shredding, the confidence is dropping and it’s due to not being put in a position to take a step forward. That’s coaching. Mularkey needs to do one of two things. Take over OC duties and have Robiskie focus on WRs or Let Robiskie try to right the ship, and if it doesn’t happen then replace him after the year. Either way, a new OC is at minimum for this staff going forward. It needs to happen out west. If Mularkey is to keep doing this, then AAS needs to put her money where her mouth is and “protect” MM by allowing JR to get the right coach. Im all for a tandem of Schwartz/Defilipo at HC/OC next year. If Mularkey balls up and takes over OC duties like McCarthy in GB few years ago and turn this offense into what he has done in the past as an OC which has been very good, then he should stick around and find a young offensive mind to take the job or just assume the role himself and hire someone in the OC role to help implement his scheme. If all all else fails... then Em we are going to waste Mm’s most critical years. No amount of money should prevent a young, potentially elite QB being held back. Its clear as day we need change and the players have no faith on offense minus Murray who loves Robiskie and Mularkey for not demoting him. Run Henry, stop the bullshit trickery like they did last year, and quit forcing things that don’t work. Simplify the offense until we click. This is should have been done during the bye give MM 2 reads or run. Give him two plays. Run or pass and let him decide. Take pressure off him and just let him play. His confidence is low. The kid is drowning and the staff is allowing it. Its almost as as bad as watching him get sacked 50+ times under Whiz
titanruss
jrob... needed to add another corner. busted on dodd needed to add competition to the interior needed to get another blocking TE in here. needed a 3rd down RB not sure there was much else he could do there the past 2 years and was likely talking to mularkey about what he needed and where the offense should go. i think he's done pretty incredible given where we started. waaay to early to judge on davis. he was hurt and looks lost out there... but matthews looks lost in this offense so how can you blame a rookie for that. Justafan
They were bottom 3 in terms of overall talent when Jrob arrived. Now, they are somewhere in the 12-20 mix in my opinion and if they were getting better QB play, they would be towards the top. Jrob deserves some criticism but overall he's been solid and is certainly not the problem.

BigAxl
I dont dislike mularkey i want him to succeed, but like most of you i want robiskie gone, im so tired of seeing the pred trick shit and only sending 2 rec out in a pattern, and having marcus designed runs has to stop, he is not Cam and doesnt have the body type to take that type of beating, I thought one of his best game this year was against the colts still dealing with the hammy he played in the pocket and did well. I don't get why people think that if Robiskie is fired things will change. They won't. As long as Mularkey is the coach it's going to be the same. titanfan24
2 hours ago, Soxcat said: First of all if one of your biggest bitches is we passed on Ramsey, collected extra picks and took a RT that was all-pro his first year that is a lame thing to bitch about. Yes, Dodd has been a dud so JRob is not perfect. Try looking at the picks of any other team and find any draft that was perfect. Then we have the constant comments about Davis, a guy who has played a handful of games in the NFL at one of the tougher positions to transition. It is lunacy. And don't blame Davis for the coaching staff using Adoree in an offensive play. And Adoree by the way has been a fantastic pick. He is playing great at CB. Better than we had thought. The same GM picked him. How about signing Ryan? Who si responsible for that? Even Cyprien is starting to play well. Again, we have gone over this 100 times but we had crap at OL, RB, DB and needed a NLB. Also lacked depth almost all areas. In two years JRob built, through the draft and FA, one of the better OLs (including our swing OT who replaced Lewan yesterday), a solid RB tandem and revamped the entire secondary. Toss in a solid NLB to boot. But but but he missed on the Dodd pick. Who gives a crap. He might have hit on Wallace who happens to be injured and some others and was not Walden a great signing? But but but Davis isn't going to have 1000 yards this year and we all know top 10 picks explode their rookie years.......... The point of my post wasn’t to completely denigrate Robinson at all. He’s done great things here. Im just not completely sure he’s maximized the draft equity he had after the trade. Your last sentence holds a lot of truth but it goes back to drafting philosophy. Only way I’d draft a WR that high is if he was a sure thing like Julio Jones, Fitzgerald, AJ Green, etc. Im not gonna go full Bongo but I see nothing super special about Davis so far. Im not so sure we aren’t a better team if we pay Bouye $2 million more, leave Cyp and Ryan in FA and draft Jamal Adams, to he honest.
