I got about 3 minutes into this stupid fucking video on 2x and had to abandon ship. So many factual errors in this video, I just can't even.

Plot twist: 9s and Oman have been buying like motherfuckers for most of this whole time but they're just playing up the no-coiner shtick for appearances. And to keep as many people away from their stacks as possible.

And they wouldn't be the only ones. Some of their fiat heroes do the same...

If you put down a given amount of money in something and it went down in value 50%, you'd have lost half the value you started with. If it went back up 50% you would only regain half of what you lost. It's true in any investment... just simple math. To regain the 50% value you lost you'd have to watch it gain 100% in value jut to break even.

You would think after all these various "deaths" that bitcoin has suffered over the course of its 14 year history... the 80% draw down after Mt Gox, the 2017/2018 crypto VC bubble, and the yield farming/platform collapses of 2022... that people would have tired of it already and it wouldn't still be here. I mean, when bitcoin crashes it crashes hard. And considering, as I mentioned above, how difficult it is to regain the value that an asset loses after the initial investment, it just seems like pointlessly throwing money away.

And yet here bitcoin sits, "bottoming" at or near a previous all-time high. Sure, there's "a sucker born every minute" but eventually, if something is weak enough, you run out of suckers one way or another. The base level of support doesn't keep bottoming at previous all-time highs and creating new all-time highs. Eventually, you come to realize that's adoption.

Maybe instead of shitting all over it... or pretend-shitting all over it, like some... ask yourself if it's more than just the greedy and gullible that are opting in. And why they'd be opting in.

True.

Regardless of your views on Crypto, what is the point of posting something like this where the reader has no idea where it came from?

I mean, I could totally just type up something different and turn it into a JPG to post on my IG for people like you to believe...

Seriously, benji... you have a smartphone, I presume. And I also assume you can Google. If you really care, just look it up.

Why not just cite the book instead of asking me to search around and try to find it?
