... um what?

I wasn't clear.  Mariota is a badass.  They are sometimes forcing plays to see who will step up when the season starts.  We haven't had a QB in so long who wasn't out there just trying to prove himself we have forgot what preseason used to be like.  Still, he is banging out a 104 passer rating, while he's doesn't look sharpe.

One minute video from the game.

Just to post both sides...Jeremiah also shared the 60-yarder to Sharpe and said it should've been a pick.

Doesn't Jeremiah know about Mariota's ability to bend space and time?

The DB baited him and then tried to cradle catch it instead of hands catching it. palms out and thumbs together and thats an int. MM got lucky.

I'm not sure he baited him and I think MM saw the defender and thought he could get it in there.  DB made a great break on the route and went for the pick. With most QBs he probably does cradle that ball easily but MM's release is ridiculously fast.

The funniest reaction to the pick has to be the safety's celebration --- DERP.

First vid is all Mariota.  Second is all Tajae, specifically the run.  Most would have got caught up in the shock and not finished the play.  Tells me Tajae is hardwired from tons of reps or crazy awareness.

I'm curious to see the press conference when Mariota was supposedly asked about this play and was dismissive about it being almost an interception. Someone mentioned it, but I haven't seen it. Funny if he is trying to say he didn't think it would be picked after it left his hand.

This is a pretty ridiculous throw when you see how he worked through his reads and fit it between 3 defenders.

Gotta be somebody here who thinks Mariota stared down his receiver on that play!  C'mon, speak up.  : p
