wtenn
Palmer had a great season last year. No doubt. But he had the type of performance in the NFC Championship game that some older players never come back from.

I love McNair but he only played at that level for about 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 years with the Titans. And they made a Super Bowl in that year and were one of the most competitive teams in the league over that span.

That damn guy could play ball, and he was a hella smart QB. Punt on third down, or lob an interception to a DB inside the 10 on 3rd down-diminishing his own stats either way & setting up that defense. Changing Ditka's plays cuz they were the wrong plays, rifling through Hustler on the training floor while Ditka pleaded with him to watch film. Going toe to toe and getting through to/ winning a Superbowl vs the likes of Tuna's NYG, Gibbs' Skins & Walsh/Montana's 9ers(all in the NFC). The only other QB winning at the clip #9 was back then was Montana, and those 9ers were absolutely stacked in all phases of the game for a long time-pre cap. I'll take McMahon(franchise QB) in his prime to get to and win the big one up against just about anybody. McMahon ain't taking shit off anybody, & he's got the hardware to prove it. Number9
I asked for the oner/under win totals at Bellagio. Then I asked the agent did he think the Titans would win the Super Bowl. He quickly said no, then gave me a look like AYFC?

Probably because Carson Palmer isn't a top 5 QB (maybe not even top 10). He is the one thing holding Arizona back, IMHO.
