Joey Bosa Overrated?

I'm all in for Ramsey or Zeke but with that saying where we pick makes picking a Safety or Rb at #1 very unlikely. I have been watching a lot of tape  of Tunsil and  Bosa vs teams not highlights, Bosa to me looks like he will struggle in the Nfl. Here is a video of him vs Michigan

Didn't think he looked like a #1 pick to me. Tunsil looks lost in run blocking in the games I have seen but is a excellent in pass blocking. If I am picking a LT at #1 I would hope he would be equally strong in both the run and pass.  I know it take two to tango but a trade has to happen cause there is no clear cut elite player this year in my opinion.

I wouldn't go by one game.

I will say I've heard some knocks on him. I've seen him compared to Jared Allen - good obviously, but as a 4-3 end. But also Adam Carriker - solid against the run but not a game-changer as a pass rusher.

And to draft a run-stopping DE No. 1 overall ... no bueno.

I have a feeling once we get passed the combine we'll start hearing how scouts perceive him. But if you're looking for an elite pass rusher at No. 1 it's not good to hear that the guy might not be an elite pass rusher this early in the game.

I really only watched half of the film but I dont see anything that wouldnt make me want him. This game was from his sophomore year and Michigan was clearly avoiding him. They often double teamed him too. The only things I didnt like was seeing him play inside. I think that is one thing he improved a lot from his soph to junior year. I dont see him being an elite pass rusher and he doesnt have to be with Lebeaus defense. I see him being a Michael Bennett production type player which is good enough for me at the #1 pick.

Watch every OSU full game from the last 2 years. You'll really think he's overrated.

He makes plays, but he's not disruptive. He's like the 3rd grader that gets into trouble, but doesn't give the teachers nightmares when they see him walk in the classroom.

I want the kid who makes his teachers want to change professions.

Coming into this game, their Michigan QB Gardner was coming off several horrible performances as a passer and on early downs OSU was far more worried about him doing damage with his legs so they were having their ends play contain to keep him in the pocket. He wasn't being turned loose as a pass rusher except on passing downs early on.

A game from his sophomore year? Seriously? He may or may not be overrated, but this video proves nothing.

Today, I'm leaning Tunsil though. I think he's BPA, and if we can't trade down (my top choice!), you take the BPA in the draft, unless it's a QB and you already have one (luckily, it's not a QB this year!).

Why do you think Tunsil's BPA? Would he benefit the Titans the most? If not, then he's not BPA. The idea that you take some arbitrary BPA is silly. We already have an LT, just like we already have a QB. So pick the guy who will help the team the most. *That* is the BPA. Pass rusher, RB, DB...

Also, "luckily" it's not a QB? We should be so damn luck if it were a QB. Trading down for a bounty would be as easy as breathing.
