Oiler FANatic
Is everyone going to feel sorry for Lamar Odom if/when he dies? Of course there's one person here we know will say it's too funny. I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who marries a Kardashian, then a few years later nearly dies at a whorehouse. What kind of moron mixes cocaine with some cheap Viagra knockoff (can't he afford the real thing anymore?) when he goes whoring?

I have sympathy for his kids and some of his circumstances about how he grew up. But no I don't feel sorry for him. He basically admitted that marrying the Kardashian was a nightmare and wasn't worth it but still only chose to divorce her within the past year. He has multiple organ failure if he survives this he'll probably be a vegetable for the rest of his life. He made something like 116 million in his career, so again no sympathies from me. Oh yeah, the way he tanked his NBA career after getting traded to the Mavs was also very dumb.

abenjami
I will feel sorry for the hooker he was banging when he started foaming at the mouth. That woman won't be right mentally for the rest of her life.

wiscotitansfan
Can we get back to how Kyle was pimping the Lakers out and they haven't won a game?
rns90
Or how D-Bust is getting outperformed by Okafor (20+ point games in 3 of 4 games), Porzingis, Mudiay who were all drafted behind him. The funny thing with that 0-4 start is that they've had an easy schedule to play. Today's opponent, Brooklyn isn't very strong either. There is a good chance that they might start off 0-10. On the positive side, this increases their chances of keeping their 1st rounder for this upcoming draft.

kyle021
Yeah I do Kobe is playing like shit However I am really excited about the play of Randle, Clarkson, and Russell So much promise with those 3... if we can land someone like Eric Gordon to play the 2 spot, and a center like Andre Drummond this offseason we will be back. Little Earl
I think Russell will be a bust compared to his draft slot. Lakers are terrible and will be one of the three worst teams, unless Kobe starts playing much better. It will come down to the luck of the ping pong balls as to whether they keep their pick. I'm a Sixers fan, so it's not like I can gloat. But i agree with what the 76ers are doing, especially after the disaster of the Andrew Bynum trade. They have the potential of getting 4 1st round picks next year, plus can swap 1st with the Kings the next two seasons (who are imploding) and have the Kings 1st in 2018. They also got their 1st back from Orlando (lost from the Bynum trade). They really suck right now, but should get better as their players get healthy and play together. It's all about next season with 4 possible 1's, plus Embiid and Saric from the 2014 draft hopefully playing.

Not a Sixers fan but I like what they are doing and honestly am rooting for "the plan" to work out. I'm leery of Embiid working out. There just seems like so much negative stuff i've read about him. Noel is playing well though. And no one can really complain about Okafor. They really need a PG though. Nets, Sixers and Lakers will probably finish with the worst 3 records. Although the Lakers might win a few games with Kobe out, has anyone looked at his stats lately? 32% FG, 21% on 3 pointers and awful defense. He just looks slow and old. Oh at least the Lakers aren't the Nets. They owe their 2016 1st rounder to Boston (no protection), 2017 1st rounder Boston has the option to swap, 2018 1st rounder to Boston (again not protected). The Lakers only owe the 1st rounder to the Sixers, which is lotto protected in 2017 as well. There is no protection in 2018. Boston gets all the spoils when the Nets suck for the next few years. Little Earl
Yeah, Ainge has set Boston up nicely. Of course they had more assets to work with when they started their rebuild than the Sixers. Hense why they are the better team right now. Embiid is definitely a huge question mark. He has so much potential, but only time will tell if his foot/body will be able to hold up. That is why they grabbed Okafor.
Guest
Definitely gonna be seeing both the Lakers (can't miss Kobe) and the Sixers (cheap) in DC this year.
rns90
I'm not sure he will be playing that game in DC. It's the second of a back to back for the Lakers. They'll be playing the night before in Philly. And I'd bet there is zero chance he sits out that game against the Sixers since it's his hometown.
