In four games last September, three of which were against defenses ranked in the top half of the league (Houston 7th, NY Jets 11th and Pittsburgh 13th) and another which is normally very good (San Diego), Locker hit on 62% of his passes, with six touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 0 lost fumbles and a 99.0 passer rating.

For his career he has completed 322 of 563 passes for 3,974 yards throwing 22 TD's and 15 INT's with a 57.2 completion percentage and a QB rating of 81.1......He has ran the ball 73 times for 502 yards for nearly 7 yards average each run scoring 4 TD's.  All of this in roughly 23 NFL games.

Homers. He was not good in the Houston or Pittsburgh games and didn't do shit until the final drive against the Chargers. The 4 game stretch that the Locker homers use to justify his ability is way overblown.

I'm not sure I'd call Wisenhunt's offense "quarterback friendly" depending on how you define "friendly". It demands a lot more of the QB in terms of decision making and accuracy than the system he played in last season. It's not clear that he will thrive given the added responsibility. He's never had great (maybe even good) pocket presence and he'll be expected to play more from the pocket than he has in the past. I think the jury is very much still out.

Of course the whole question is probably moot since it depends on him staying healthy.

Good, but not great. That's who Locker is. He can be good. I don't think he'll ever be great.

Good beats the Colts in Indy in October..

Great finds a way to out deul Brady on the road in Jan.

Good often times looks like Great in September and October, it's not until December and January that you find out that's it's not.

I posted before that his career numbers, which amounted to almost the exact amount of passes Luck threw last year, are pretty good. He has to be more decisive & he has to improve his pocket presence. And, I know it's not popular, he has to make plays with his legs. A lot of them. I don't think he's good enough to do what McNair did & become a big time pocket passer, but he averages almost 7 YPC, if he can rush for 600 or so yards, he may have a chance.
