TeamRamrod
Barr has a perfect combination of size (6'4, 248, long arms) and athleticism to play OLB in a 3-4. Very good agility and explosiveness. Will possibly run under 4.5. Point being don't be so enamored with tape on a guy (13.5 and 10.0 sacks the last two years by the way) who was a running back three years ago. I still see more there than we had with guys like Mingo last season. Sure he will need to develop some additional pass rush moves and learn how to play with better leverage but he is going to shine as a weak side OLB and pass rusher. He is almost the spitting image of DeMarcus Ware when he came out. I didn't like Mingo. I never said I didnt like Barr. I just prefer Mack,
Nash
from GBNreport.com Needless to say there will be much sorting out later in the week at the combine, however, the buzz around the league is that Michigan OT Taylor Lewan may have moved back up into the top 10 on a lot of boards around the league. It also appears that UCLA OLB Anthony Barr, who had been considered to be 1-2 among non-QB prospects with Clowney much of the fall, may have slipped closer to the middle of the opening round. No questioning Barr’s intensity and productivity, but he likely lacks the pure athleticism and explosion off the edge of a true elite prospect. ctm
Retweeted by Jim Wyatt Jim Mora @UCLACoachMora 7m Anthony Barr @itheeayb just ran an electronic 4.44 in the 40 for Pro Scouts...and that's why you train on the UCLA campus with Sal Alosi. KnoxTitan
I like Mack over Barr, but I get the feeling that Barr is just being nitpicked. With too much time to fill, draft prospects tend to get over-analyzed this time of year. We could do alot worse at #11.
Frank Andbeans
With the Falcons FA moves (signing Tyson Jackson as a 5-tech, signing Solai as a huge NT, re-signing Babineaux as a rushing 3-tech) its pretty clear they are committing to a 3-4. They badly need an edge rusher. With the scheme switch Barr is a pretty obvious fit for their biggest need. I doubt he gets past them unless Mack falls to them. TampaTitan
Is irritating that we haven't had as good a team as either Atlanta or Houston in recent years, and then when they both have a down year we aren't as bad as either of them and they end up getting the pick of the litter. Watch them rebound and be better than us again next year. This fence we've been riding between picks 8-11 the last 3 years is getting so old.

I personally think that even if Atlanta stuck to the 4-3 & they liked Barr they'd take him but the chances just increased alot now. I'm thinking our best bet is going to be Donald or an OT. Maybe even Mike Evans, though I doubt it. I really want Donald the most & I think it makes sense. We're looking at a bunch of FA lineman on the wrong side of 30 so we'll need a young guy there. But if Matthews drops it would be tough to pass him up. I hate to bitch but it really sucks that we don't have a pick a few spots higher. I'm wondering if it may be best to drop back & pick up that 3rd & take a Dee Ford or Hageman.
JLocker10
I think TB at 7 is a sleeper for Donald. Fits Lovie to a tee. He might see shades of Tommie Harris in Donald I don't think they go QB with the McCown signing or OT now that they've signed Collins. Don't think they'll go edge rusher with the Michael Johnson signing. So that leaves maybe Ebron, Evans, Watkins (if he slips), and Donald to me to TB

Donald was born to be a Tampa 2 DT & would be frightening next to McCoy. Who knows, maybe thy figure they'd be able to land Donld at 11 & we can trade up for Mack. Frank Andbeans
There's two spots at DT Only one spot at under tackle though. They are in the same spot we are with Casey except Casey is more capable than McCoy as a 1tech.

Aramis
Let's say Mack and Barr are gone by our pick. Would you guys consider Dee Ford? The guy was great in the title game and senior bowl. I don't think I'd be upset going with Ford, if Mack and Barr are off the board. EDIT: Here's Ford's pro day report. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl-draft-scout/24467729/pro-days-lighter-ford-shows-speed-power
WG53
I like Ford but not at 11. If we traded back with Donald and Jernigan off the board.
