Frank Andbeans
I like Locker a lot but Bridgewater is the one guy I would toss Locker aside for. He is an elite talent with some of the best down-field accuracy I've ever seen. IMO he's flat out superior to Luck as a prospect.

If Bridgewater was superior to Luck you wouldn't have scouts ranking him #8. Maybe he is a franchise guy. But saying he's in Luck's league is a bit steep. I am going to try and watch the bowl game as I've never watched him play a full game. Maybe he'll change my mind, who knows.
Denali
A trade like that could devastate the franchise for years to come Agreed. No doubt it's a dice roll. But how how many years have we been set back with the selections of VY and Locker? Selecting the wrong QB in the first round usually sets back a franchise for years anyway. And what are our prospects if we don't draft an elite QB, and stay with Locker and/or draft a non-elite QB? Desperate times call for desperate measures. Think Robert E. Lee at Chancellorsville. If Bridgewater doesn't work out the ramifications would be much worse than with Young or Locker. You have to be 110% sure that he's the real deal to make a drastic trade like that. oldschool
Webster isn't getting fired and he's a still Locker's number 1 supporter. All this talk of drafting a QB high or moving up for a prospect like Bridgewater is useless. No offense.
wiscotitansfan
We would have to give up so much, Is he exponentially better than RG3 was in college? Many said he had an amazingly accurate arm too but I wouldn't do that trade at all now. The Redskins gave up so much just to move up a few spots, we would have to give up more picks and higher ones to move to the 2nd and possibly 1st spot. This trade would most likely involve the Texans somehow (whether it be us trading in front of them or trading with them). Either way they win, We either give them a shitton of picks and they have multiple high picks or we trade in front of them and they end up with a defensive line that consists of Watt and Clowney. He hits guys right in frame, in stride, etc.
Thrill
Meh... We can trade back to the 15th pick, get a second rounder, and then take Manziel.

oldschool
The bottom line is that the Titans will not be taking the expensive option on Locker's extension. That means that Locker is playing for his future in 2014. However, will he even be ready to start the 2014 season due to his injury. Therefore, you can bet that the Titans will address the QB position in free agency and likely in the draft. Bridgewater is not the guy I would be willing to sell the future out for. Don't be shocked if it's Locker and Fitz in 2014. Remember, Fitz was also a Webster signing and if reports are to be believed, the coaching staff had no input. Cyrus
Bortles is an interesting guy, he's made some big-time throws but I think he lacks any outstanding qualities. Personally, I'm all for David Fales. Second round, fourth round, whatever. He's played very well in two different systems and while he lacks outstanding arm strength, he can make the throws and he has all the traits you want in the pocket. His games against Stanford have impressed me due to his mental toughness and poise even when thoroughly overmatched against a very good defense. abenjami
Just say no to guys without arm strength. Weak arms don't cut it in the pros where the windows are smaller and the closing speed of your average DB/LB is much higher than college scrubs. It sounds like he's an Andy Dalton type. Is that a fair comparison?

He plays with a better base and isn't a gun-slinger like Dalton can be at times. The best comparison I can think of in terms of "style" is Tom Brady. wiscotitansfan
For never having heard of him that tape isn't too shabby but he doesn't seem to anticipate well. He throws to guys after they are open or after they are out of their cut.
