Because money is the only thing when comes to signing players. (Not to mention that these players are under contract among a plethora of other obstacles.) Now that we are in the offseason, can someone help us decide how much a team should spend on the QB position (including backups)? Every offseason people spout off about contracts being "too much" for a certain player/position without any context. Further, the actual alternative is not presented - playing a season with some filler guy, etc.

Make some and split it up for each Texas county and/or town. Include in the fine print that the money may be used towards fencing, landscaping, labor, etc. In the really fine print, state that it isn't limited to these locations or even Texas.

If I've learned anything from TR from the past few months, none of that matters. Gase was there for all of it. We should expect him to do the exact same with the Jets regardless of what happens to their players.

It is best to have more good players, right? If this draft is good at DL, then why not strengthen ours with two shots? Further, if we cover a need in FA, that opens us up to improving at other areas.
