Someone else isn't even showing up. Eagles have offered the same stance as the Titans FO and DJax is reporting Monday. CJ should take notice. NBC Philadelphia's Howard Eskin reports DeSean Jackson will "absolutely, positively" report to Eagles' training camp on Monday. Jackson has to report by Tuesday if he doesn't want to risk losing an "accrued year" toward free agency, while the Eagles have said they would not negotiate a new deal until he reported. Wyatt says today nothing was heard from Finnegan or his people. So the person who said it was a contract dispute was a source with the team, right? Wyatt also reported that his team mates were caught off guard, because Finnegan has mentioned nothing about a contract dispute when talking to them. If you are going to hold out, it's kind of weird to go completely MIA. Your agent is in the media making your case at the very least. Is it crazy to think he had some family emergency come up, left in the middle of the night to attend to that (unprofessional, he clearly should have let someone know), and the Titans FO just assumed it was a hold out? Definitely possible. Wyatt wasn't even the one who broke the story though. Pretty sure it was Jason Cole of Yahoo or something. If what you're saying is true, then why would Finnegan say that team officials were made aware of the situation? Munch and Reinfeldt appeared to have no idea. Someone's lying. Wyatt's doing his job. Maybe 31 should have done his. Yeah, Finnegan has just signed his death warrant with the media. Members of the media really stick together on issues like this. You can read my comments on it from yesterday. He is to blame for all this. However, imo, this is now between Finny and MM/MR. If Fisher were here and this happened, Fisher's devotion to his players would have probably made him yank on Wyatt's proverbial leash (like he used to) and this would be swept under the rug.
