The coaches got panned for it back then here and online... he simply confirmed it and then recanted because he felt bad for embarrassing a former coach after it blew back up. We all know this. You just hate the idea because of your feelings re: Mulbiskie and Mariota. If the situation was reversed you'd be saying his words were gospel.
