If they are drafting him in the second he’s isn’t a backup slot, they are going to give him snaps outside.

Not that I’m really advocating for him but Zay Flowers had the same drop rate and he’s fine playing outside for the Ravens.  We now employ their  formerWR coach.

The list of guys with a 9+% drop rate is littered with busts. There will always be guys who buck the trend but I rather not take that chance especially when our current wr room is also full of guys with consistency issues.

Another year...another list to be mindful of.     UPDATED - 4/15/2026   Important Notes: - Every Team meets with just about every prospect at the Shrine Bowl and Se

If I don't agree with the pick, any contact with the player is obviously a smokescreen.   You see this argument every year.

The 4th pick in this years draft gets a fully guaranteed $49.07 million contract.   - No S in the NFL have that much fully guaranteed money on their contract - No off ball LB currently

Who in that “range” late 1st-early 2nd is the safest one and fits our scheme the best ?  Or would you just punt on it until rd 3 and take ILB or G in round 2?

I haven’t watched all the WR at all.

For the 2nd round guys I only have 3. Cooper, Boston and Bell.

There is an argument to be made against boston since he was not good against zone but we need a man beater any way.

Bell is great outside the injury but if getting a 1st round talent in the 2nd comes at the cost of him missing a few games sign me up.

Cooper is more of a Z but unlike KC the guy who's job he would be taking is gone after this year. He could potentially grow into an x so there is that.

If none of those guys make it I absolutely punt to the 3rd or 4th. This is all assuming that we don't take tate in the first ofc.

I would not even entertain any of the other prospects in the 2nd round. In the 3rd tou get into skylar bell, Lance, Hurst territory, maybe get lucky and one of them drop to us for the first pick on day 3.

Edit: didn't actually answer your question. Cooper is the safest, then bell as long as there isn't some long term stuff with the injury(does not seem to be). Boston is the only 1 with a question mark imo but its not as big as the cant catch the ball question mark.

I’d feel more comfortable if they could trade down and get another pick if they do draft Bell.

I’d have to look how many teams late one need a WR.

I’m guessing ARZ passes on one at 34 but LV might take one at 33.

Although part of me thinks they will go G in round 2 and punt on WR till rd 3.

I wish I had an answer for which guys I thought would go where. The mocks have cooper gone almost every time by 35. Boston is hit or miss for some and there till around 40 in other. They have bell going a little later in the 30-50 range.

It really depends on how teams feel about the guys I dont see as 2nd rounders. The KC, Brazzell, Sarrats of the world.

Really like Stukes as a option on Day 2. Has the size and speed to essentially play anywhere in the secondary. Graded out as the 5th best corner in the nation this year.

The day 2 and day 3 CB options are going to be awesome. On Day 2, you can likely grab one of any Chris Johnson, D'Angelo Ponds, Stukes, Brandon Cisse, Keith Abney, Keionte Scott, Jalen Kilgore, or Devin Moore.

On Day 3 I actually love Charles Demmings, Julian Neal, Hezekiah Masses, Jadon Canady, and Andre Fuller instead of investing a Day 2 pick following the signings of Taylor, Flott, and Williams.
