Grizz
College football analysts were crazy off on Texas. I saw one guy was saying they were more talented than OSU at every level. That's just crazy. Ohio State won the title for a reason and have excellent coordinators (Patricia is a dope but absolutely confused the shit out of Arch). So I think this was both things--Ohio State being an elite defense and Arch just not being totally ready. Mythos27

I was watching the UT game for Josh Josephs. I am not a UT fan by any means, but I was thinking the Nico situation might be a blessing in disguise for them. He has a lot of tools/talent but his decision making and accuracy did not seem completely there to me. And he was fucking awful against Utah. That Tennessee offense seems tailored made for a guy like Aguilar, who may not have an NFL level profile but is an excellent college QB. TN could be better than people think because they ditched Nico.

I've seen a number of people talk about how they had to dumb down the offense for Nico, reducing his reads to half the field. And he still had problems. That 73 yard bomb by Aguilar must've felt like the first day of fall for Vols people. Vols Twitter were giddy hate watching him shit the bed last night. Grizz
From a development standpoint, I also kind of felt like Texas was a misstep. Sark seems like a great coach for QB development, but when you are the head coach you don't have the ability to focus on that. I am not sure where exactly I would have sent him, but it seems like there could have been a better place for him, especially as Sark has just taken the highest profile job in college football, matriculating into the SEC, with a history of negative coping strategies at that level (alcoholism). LSU seems to be developing QBs. I know Ohio State has a reputation for QBs, but he would have had weapons and defense there.
