I don't think many of us miss your point that it's a bit ridiculous...but come on man. As a fan of the Titans, and most of us have only known them as Titans, it is fair to say the Ravens have been our biggest foil and rivalry. Others could say Indy or Jax, but we all know it's the fucking Ravens. You can be above rivalries I guess but that's just a huge part of sports. Now, with all that said, you have to admit it sucks as strictly a fan that basically our best 4 players went directly from the Titans to our most hated rival. It simply sucks as a footnote of the team's history that it played out that way. 

 

I think you're taking NN just being himself and joking on Mason as him actually reserving those feelings towards him as a person. He doesn't. He's just fucking around.

BS - he said Mason (and I guess this would apply to Rolle, McNair, and Henry) a traitor because he signed with the Ravens after the Titans ended his employment.  That's what's a fucking stupid, infantile take.  Anyone with that thinking is an idiot.

 

Players have no obligation to work for a team that may be a rival team to the Titans whether it's the Ravens or Colts or Texans etc. whether fans like it or not.

Parsing over hating him as a person is irrelevant to the discussion.  I mean who gives a fuck what his personal feelings for anyone is.

The issue was always Houston not wanting to fund a new stadium, something they ended up doing anyway after the Oilers moved to Nashville.

What about all of the games where the opposing fans filled the stadium in Nashville?  

 

It's indisputable that local fan support of the Titans has been historically poor.  I get it - between all of the transplants there, poor product, ticket prices - but it's true.

Of course none of that takes away from the reality that the Oilers logo/uniform is still way better than anything the Titans have had to date.....and I'm far from the only one who thinks this.  It also doesn't take away from the fact that Nashville does a poor job of supporting the team and that the local fans are generally stupid.
