Anyway. Lost in all the drama of TC/TR over the years, that was then the split between Oman and CTF started or at least became a real beef. CTF rightfully called out the nonsense. Oilerman then went for the jugular once CTF opened himself up to some ridicule during the golf/wealth/weed thread. The history of that whole thing may be lost on most here, but they were once brothers in arms, but CTF calling out the Oilerman co-sign on the forum takeover put him in a Goodfellas B-character situation. And for the record, CTF fucking hated me. He shit talked me on the regular and seemed Hell-bent at times of running me off the forum. He was no friend of mine. But that whole interaction between the two of Oman and CTF always rubbed me wrong. Love it or hate it, CTF tried to rally the board together during a bullshit time, and he did. He was a big name here and love him or hate him his input meant a lot at the time. The board survived. In big part thanks to him taking a stand. And then the board devoured him. In large part because one of the people he rightfully called out couldn’t knife him in the back fast enough. CTF could barely remember where he put his car keys, let alone be some TitansReport savior. CTF was all about needling and bullying people until it happened to him, he couldn’t take it, and left. If you can’t take a few jokes about being fat and playing golf, don’t post here—especially considering how much he talked himself up as some tremendous specimen of humanity. I wish I still had that pathetic apology he wrote to me whining about how he was treated while not apologizing. He never realized how little I respected anything he said because at the end of the day, he’s just another troll with an inflated ego whose persona was nowhere near the actual man. The only poster I’ve ever felt bad for is Legal. While we are reminiscing—think it’s possible to dig up that thread where the pedo complained about the government raiding his child porn stash? Sadly, that hilarious episode happened back during the TitansCentral era; I don’t know of a way to dig up those threads except for searching through the Internet Wayback Machine, which is hit-and-miss at best. My biggest memory of CTF was how he kinda went off the deep end toward the end of his tenure and was completely obsessed with smoking weed, to the point where it was the only thing he talked about. It was like, “Dude… we get it. You really, really, REALLY like weed… That’s fine. Nobody cares.” It eventuallh got to the point where I kinda tuned him out because it was all he wanted to talk about. I figure he probably deleted his profile here and became one of those Deadhead/Phish followers who just travels around the country getting high and following jam bands. He said something (it's been years so, memory might be off) to CTF like: calm down leave the board for a day or two or stop posting in this thread and it will blow over.
