That throw was money, Spears just stopped running. I'm not going to ask a rookier QB in is 2nd start to not realize the guy he's throwing to isn't great in the passing game. If runs through the route and finishes the play it’s a likely TD. There was also a defender underneath. To me, if he underthrows that pass it’s defended or the defense makes a play. I haven’t watched it back, but that was my initial impression. Plus, as you say, Spears handled that route a little oddly.

The ball has to come out to hit Spears in stride - i.e. to the right of Spears. The ball was off target, which caused Spears to get all turned around and fall down. Nope. He turned himself around. Levis threw it to a spot.

BudsOilers
The moment Levis is getting ready to throw. If you don't understand where the ball placement needs to go, IDK what to tell you..... This is something that's going to happen some as Levis is completely relying on his arm to make a ton of throws despite some bad footwork.

Well, duh. I just see this switch from the "RT is a good QB" to "Vrabel needs to be fired." Use the same logic that you clowns used for RT for so long. It's better to have a slightly above average coach than it is to go on a coaching carousel hunt and have losing seasons for 6 years. Now is not the time to start judging Vrabel. The team is in a purgatory. 2 fucking drafts of practically 0 players. Fired GM. New QB. It's gonna get better before it gets worse. On top of that, Jrob's worst attribute was Oline personnel. Unless you have Tom Brady, you're gonna sink no matter how good your time management, strategy, or play calls go. If you press Levis to throw the ball in a game you might be able to win, the argument is there to say "He has no business throwing that ball there with a rookie QB. We were winning! Why not take the points???" Yall are just pushing another agenda like always. Meathead meathead blah blah. He wasn't a meathead when he benched Marcus and put in your favorite player, and we nearly went to the SB. He makes different calls based on the situation and the players. Sometimes they fail. That's life. Unless we have some real evidence of incompetence, I just don't see the point of the conjecture for the sake of agenda. Bud is an idiot. I wonder how long it took for him to figure out the team that scored the most points wins. They are trying to create another topic to start calling people 'tards' about. Now, just like you pointed out they were running practice squad players out there to block all night. If Tannehill was the QB they would be saying 'tards' can't understand why RT's throwing air balls. Now, it is Vrabel can't coach. Vrabel is the same coach who made Tannehill 'elite' according to them. Before that Miami was spreading the word around the NFL they would pay a team to take him. Tannehill gets with Vrabel, 'poof' he's elite. Now, Tannehill has hit the age/physical wall-Vrabel can't coach. It's a bunch of them that cling on a point scared to voice an independent thought. It's just 'you are a 'tard'. "you don't know football like we do". I said it last week and I say it again now. They are making the board look stupid. Dumb as hell about a simple fact players age, even Tannehill. imo, they are going to be wrong about Vrabel. But that appears to be their new "you are a tard if you don't say what we say" talking point.

The coaching decisions/play calling have been huge factors in why they don't score and why they don't win. Playing league worst pass pro OT's over guys that come in and play better is dumb and has killed the offense for 3 straight years. Running heavy on conflicted downs for minimal success is dumb and it too often puts the team in obvious passing situations that expose the bad pass protection. Running trick plays in the RZ that don't work is dumb. Running a draw on 3rd and 10 with a timeout left is dumb, even if he had some rationale for it. If he doesn't evolve to allow the passing game to exist without getting the QB's killed, he needs to go.

That has absolutely nothing to do with not going for it on 3rd down and giving up. Bud is mentioning it to cast shade on Levis in an otherwise really damn good performance. It's obvious. It's obvious. Wrong. I'm super happy with how Levis did for game 2 and have said repeatedly that he should remain the starter. Where I take umbrage is you retards trying to claim it was on the receiver when it very clearly was on the QB. And then insisting you were right when you clearly aren't. You're already jizzing over Levis just like you did for Mariota.

IsntLifeFunny
It really is fun how easy it is to get under Bud's skin. No, the fanbase just wants Vrabel to fawn over the rookie QB and they only tolerated Tannehill Lol it couldn't be more obvious.
