Ran basically called him a complete back. It’s up to Vrabel and Kelly to use him.

I actually like the prospect but if he doesn’t get used when they probably passed over someone who could have contributed it’ll sting a little.

If Vrabel’s line about competition at every position is true then he could see a decent amount of playtime.

This is pretty much it right here. This kid is a great runner. There’s no doubt about that. He averaged 7 a pop in college. It was obvious we loved this kid the whole time, right from the get. But you’re spot on with the problem with this pick:usage. There is literally zero chance this kid will get more than 2 carries a game while Derrick Henry is on the team.  It just will not happen, it doesn’t matter how good the kid is. I guarantee he will not have 50 carries this year. And he appears to be a decent receiver but that’s not his strength….he’s a straight running back like Ran said.

So we basically drafted him to start in 2024 & I still question we even move on from Henry after this year. I think Vrabel will fight to keep him. And he may be right to do so, Henry looks like the outlier who can keep it up till early 30’s. So in the last 4 years we’ve spent  two 3rd’s & a 4th on backs who have or had no chance of playing. This isn’t even taking into account how desperate we are at WR.

They must’ve had him VERY highly rated. He’s definitely electric on the field, but like you said, if he’s just riding the bench it’s gonna suck passing on WR.

Rapoport reported on the NFL Network that Spears suffered two torn ACLs in his past. At the NFL Combine, tests revealed a full thickness cartilage loss, and no ACL in his knee. Additionally, Spears has arthritis. Rapoport said it's unclear how long he will be able to play in the NFL, and even openly wondered if Spears could be a "one-contract guy."

Maybe this is Ran's cousin or something and he's just trying to help out. They can't be this stupid

My guess is Ran is definitely in over his head

ACL: Do you need one?

If you want to return to everyday life, running, cycling and the occasional weekend hike, then rehabilitation without an ACL will allow you to achieve these goals. There is also evidence to show that living without an ACL does not increase the likelihood of osteoarthritis (Van Yrepen et al 2018).
