Alcibiades
I have a theory about what the coaches are doing with Farley. They let him play, hoping that the experience would bring him along. They were willing to take some bad plays in that. However, it was hurting the dude's confidence. It was pretty obvious. So then they don't play him at all, and put a guy out there that gave up big play after big play but still holds his head up (veterans CBs don't care...they just get paid!). Meanwhile, Farley gets to work on his technique without losing confidence. Sure, not playing sucks and in it's own way leads to having to answer questions about why you aren't playing. BUT, it's better than getting toasted over and over, which could simply destroy his confidence. I think he can still be a good player. Fulton as a rookie was OK...he gave up some plays and flashed. Now, he's our best CB (it's not close). I'm not saying Farley will be that. I'm saying this is basically his rookie year, and thus too early to give up on him. IrishTitansFan
Anyone with that athletic ability can be saved. I mean Blidi Wreh Wilson managed to stay in the league for years and start a some games The odds are now absolutely terrible he pans out for the Titans though. I'd be surprised if he was on the roster game 1 next season
Guts
Dude hasn't play meaningful football since 2019, and even then he was raw as hell in college after making the switch from WR. Farely is a massive project, and is Webster type move.
2ToneTerror
I don’t think he has the instincts…maybe not the smarts either. regardless of physical talent. And too fragile…. massive whiff.
cenj
I hated this pick personally, but I'm surprised people are writing him off. He's basically still a raw as hell rookie. We thought he'd struggle his first year playing when he was drafted because he was so raw and inexperienced coming out, and he was basically injured all last year. So this is his first real year playing. I don't think you can gauge him until next season. I never had any hopes of him being a starter this year and don't know why people have this expectation. TeamRamrod
You don’t even have to look far at the same position in the modern nfl to see how these guys can fulfill their potential multiple years after they were drafted. I would just point you all to Jeff Okudah and how he is playing this year after being TERRIBLE the first couple years. AJ Terrell was a shutdown corner last year. Chidobe Awuzie hadn’t hit his stride until he was on his SECOND contract. Patience y’all.
Nash
I wonder about several possibilities..1) can he play press and man to man, which requires much less thinking, or maybe he should be a zone corner exclusively..2) maybe he should be the corner on the tight end, with that size for this season

Started 5 or 6 games his rookie year then was injured first game of his 2nd. Okudah was always pro ready, Farley couldn't be further from that AJ Terrell: Usual rookie bumps but still did OK and All Pro year 2 Awuzie: Played well in spots his first couple years in Dallas, they didn't give him a 2nd contract. Farley is no good to us on another team
Lars
His college film though somewhat limited was just incredible, the plays he was making. Fantastic athlete but it’s not translating.
BTiger3733
I'm sure the ACL is still a factor too. He doesn't look as explosive as he did pre-injury, some guys just take a little longer to recover. It's disappointing but there's still hope.

I wasn’t saying he is going to be Jalen Ramsey or even a starter at that. It’s just too early to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Well they were all better than anything Farley has shown to this point at the same point in their careers barring maybe Okudah, and he is one of the best CB prospects of all time so it's apples to oranges there

He played something like 20 games at CB his entire life. Okudah was incredibly well rounded and was picked top
