Robinson sets a max value and doesn’t exceed it - so at that point maybe AJB got sand in his vagina knowing other teams would pay more and then stopped communicating. This has always been my default position, if Vrabel and JRob truly felt AJ Brown no longer wanted to be here they weren't going to play hardball to try and "force" him to stay. I couldn’t care less about an offseason throwing session with Kinsey and McMath. If that TD catch against Bengals wasn’t proof enough, AJ Brown absolutely did not need reps with Tannehill. Regardless if the above is absolutely correct, it's definitely in the scope of what happened. Brown wanted out and the Titans obliged him and picked his replacement. He was offered a contract on par with the other ones from what we've seen leaked, so acting as if that didn't happen is the truly stupid part.
