He definitely has upside, and I like his play style. However, he's too grabby and inconsistent with his hand placement. Just some things hell work on when he gets to the NFL. He is 20y/o and is no where near a finished and polished player, given the choice between a 20 y/o Tyler Smith or a 25y/o Bernhard Raimann you choose Smith 100% of the time. Never said I would hate the pick, just that I wouldn't expect him to start in 2022.

Probably not initially at RT but he could be an option at LG before too long, if they went down the route of taking Smith I would expect him to end up the long term RT with Radunz the long term LT after Lewan leaves. GLinks
No thanks. Not at 26. He’s a bear hug penalty machine. The 16 penalties last year would only multiply in a starting role. Here’s the 2022 version of the board taking another long stretch into we gotta take this OL with our 1st pick, replete with plausible deniability baked in. There is actual bust potential with Tyler Smith, but I haven’t heard that mentioned. Too many quality OL IMO in this draft to not think they could land a Dave Stewart talent in rounds 3-4. As far as reaches go, however, I believe Christian Watson would be just as likely of a reach. Yeah, I’m sure a lot of us would feel better if they could just generate a decent trade down. Try to get a 2/3/4 or 2/3 at least. JR could do some nice things.
Lars
Robinson kind of needs to draft the highest floor guy this year in round one. The team needs its first rounder to contribute for once.

Guts
Younghoe Koo How is he not a top priority, 3rd most accurate kicker in NFL history. I don't believe Falcons placed a tender on him?

Free agency and day 2 picks should be where you’re looking for guys who can contribute in some meaningful way right away. 1st and 2nd round picks should be looked at from a much bigger picture POV

I highly doubt he drafts a guy with an injury or character concern history in round one this year.

Simmons is an outlier.
