Another one of those overhyped UDFA that the messageboard goes crazy over but turns out to be a stiff...

Is this a personal attack?

JRob seems to be methodically moving through his offseason to do list

- Yesterday re-signing Landry

- Today dealing with the restricted and exclusive rights FA (NWI/Tart/Woodside) and letting Roberson hit FA.

Tomorrow could we see the start of the cuts or restructures.

Saffold, Lamm and Kern are sure cuts. Jenkins is maybe not because I really don't count on Farley. Byard is going to restructure, but I wonder what's going to happen with Lewan, Cunningham, Tannehill in relation to cuts/paycuts. I know Tannehill is not going anywhere but man he should take a slight paycut. And Lewan too. They are leaders of this team, come on now, lead by example. Help this team to win SB. Make players around Tannehill better. NWI is a depth receiver, he showed it numerous times last season. Get offensive weapons. I mostly blame Tannehill for the Bengals loss, no way around it, but for me it's ridiculous to have AJ as your only catching weapon. Julio played injured all season long, I don't want us to rely on him. NWI, Rogers, Firkser, Swaim, McMath - what the fuck. With that being said, we need a cap space. Guys have to sacrifice

I really don’t want the team to touch Tannehill’s money. If he shits the bed again in 2022 we can cut him before 2023 and save $30M+. I’d much prefer they restructure Byard and/or Lewan

I'm interested to see what happens with Jackrabbit. We free up $6.9m by releasing him but I'm not sure we can adequately replace him with a different FA for less than that. Veterans like Steven Nelson, Casey Heyward, Levi Wallace (who would all be somewhat lateral moves) will probably all be in the $5-8m range so it doesn't really help us.

CB depth is poor.  It's a big problem.

I think they will keep him for another year and hope Farley will be ready to replace him in 2023. But either way they need a veteran CB there this year but not in the long term.

Standard for any team with free agents they want to keep and/or salary cap issues......

I'm sure if your boss came to you and asked you to show what a team player you are by taking a sizeable pay cut, you'd be all over it...
