Lavonte David is by far the best WLB in the draft but I think he's going to be gone by the time the Titans pick in the 2nd.

I like Demario Davis and Nigel Bradham in rounds 3/4 as fall back options.

I disagree. Kuechly is the best wlb prospect in the draft.

They can add Casillas and still draft a guy like Kuechly which would be nice

We need depth and insurance at the lb spot anyway

Casillas will be a low cost signing and gives us a little bit more flexibility going into the draft

And Spoon and McRath will be moved out soon, this season, or next

Saints have virtually no cap space.

And speaking of cap space, there is this report:

According to the statements of many team owners and reports from Sports Business Journal, Yahoo!, and profootballtalk.com, which have been confirmed by league sources, the NFL management council informed owners at the league meetings that the salary cap will remain flat through 2015, and then increase incrementally.

If this report is true, then this is acually good news for the Titans who are in excellent shape cap wise relative to most other teams. There will be a number of teams that are screwed if the cap doesn't increase for the next few years. In addition, it makes it all the more important to get high priced vets off the roster now, because any cap space saved this year can be rolled over into 2013.

I always knew during the lockout and the build up to it that the NFLPA's threat of never agreeing to the cap again was total BS, but I would have thought they at least successfully argued to fixed increases in the cap from the onset of this new CBA. Over the last few years of the last CBA it went up wildly, and while I was expecting that to stop, having no movement for a few years is a major win for the owners.

Both Witherspoon and McRath are in the last year of their contracts, so it makes sense to replace at least one of them now.

Any chance at all we draft Hightower to play MLB and shift McCarthy to WLB..or is he a 2 down player?

I don't think McCarthy could play outside very well in our scheme. He's a MLB. I don't see him covering TEs well or anything like that, though I was surprised at how well he seemed to get back into coverage on certain plays last year. He was better at that than I expected. But I don't think he's good enough at it to be a WLB.

FINALLY, I have it to where tweets look right. You just have to link to the permalink and it automatically does the rest.

So, to use it...just go to the link for that single tweet. Copy that and paste it here.

I used this:
