Mainstream national political media is right wing

The problem isn’t really that they are right wing (though they are corporate). The problem is that they are trying so hard not to look like the “liberal media” that they go out of their way to criticize liberals to attempt to show balance.

We all know that. I think Luvya has provided enough evidence to at least rethink they’re just trying not to be seen as such.

He knows it wasn't just a protest, that's laughable.    When you listen to people who used to be Trumpers who are now against him one of the common themes is how they got tired of pretending

More centered Republican talking points on lies by CNN. What a disgrace.

Sorry you are wrong about this one. The suburban mom revolt in Loudoun and Fairfax is real. Neither school district handled remote learning and back to in person learning well. I can also tell you after having two elementary school age kids remote for 15 months, the impact on learning and social skills is very real. It's just must worse for for lower income families that didn't have the means to provide a good learning environment at home.

So... where are the low income parents? And ... get this... why turn the control back over to the party that responded poorly to the pandemic in the first place?

They would rather vote against the woke justice party and don't want to say that. The school closures happened because of REPUBLICAN NEGLECT and the pandemic is subsiding because Democrats are better at using resources, period. Anyone with a brain knows that, and the school closure reasoning is a total bullshit red herring.

Thats not the story of the VA election. The story is suburban moms in two of the richest and bluest counties in VA revolting against the Dems who are in charge. Also while CRT got all the press, the real issue was McAuliffe's gaff about Parents shouldn't be telling schools want to teach. As the article I posted the other day stated, he didn't make any attempt to walk it back for 18 days and the Youngkin campaigned started hammering McAuliffe over the comments 3 hours after he said it.

All that to say, the dems who voted for Youngkin are stupid for doing so. I think many convinced themselves Youngkin is a moderate Republican who kept Trump at arms length. Makes it easier to stomach voting Republican. Personally I don't see how anyone who has voted Democrat can vote Republican with what the party is currently doing.

That's @luvyablue256's point.  The story is about what suburban mom's decide.  It's not about what most mom's experience, and why some mom's influence elections and others don't.

CNN and the NY Times aren't roaring woke news organizations, they just occasionally do reporting that is progressive.  And for that intrusion overly sensitive conservatives go howling.

The problem here is confirmation bias. He's just looking for things that confirm his view and posting them. He's not looking for bias against Republicans or any other faction. He's not looking at all their coverage and analyzing it for bias.

He is reposting highly partisan twitter accounts who are looking for bias against Democrats. Hardly something to take seriously.

The coverage speaks for itself.

What was the biggest story of the 2016 election?
