Their business is controversy and Republicans traffick in controversy. Democrats bring stability and tranquility.

The media is all about driving ratings and page clicks to generate ad revenue….and creating controversy has always been the easiest and most effective way to grab attention.      They see it as their duty to criticize and second-guess every decision a President makes, regardless who’s in office or which party is in power .

They’ve hammered on Biden the same way they constantly hammered Trump, Obama, Bush, etc….and  they’ll hammer the next guy and then the guy after that.

Other Presidents  always understood this and refused to let the noise become a distraction.  Trump was the only one who was stupid and insecure enough to take it personally and pout that they were mean to him and hurt his feelings.

Empty words. He didn’t care before. And Republicans aren’t voting for that…

Dude he’s been the biggest pro union politician in the United States for a long time now and has done a shit to to support unions.

They got a lot of upgrades in this new contract. I do think it’s dumb that they cant seem to get expanded sick leave though.

Some perspective here, corporate democrats…

Democrats don’t win elections without union support.

Isn’t the new deal significantly better than the last one? Just really lacking in the paid time off department.

Yes, the new deal is better. No one is arguing otherwise.

The issue is that unions had a contract (which they rejected in negotiations) imposed upon them. Biden called on Congress to do it. You perhaps might understand why unions might be unhappy about this.

Now he’s trying to cover his ass by saying he is for paid sick days, but that wasn’t the contract his administration forced on unions.
