The Titans defense has turned it around

The defense is definitely executing better and seems to have at least slowed the bleeding.....but even with the recent improvements,  they're still giving up almost 30 points per game.

They've stepped it up on 3rd downs and the secondary play has improved considerably..... but the pass rush is still mehhhh and the red zone defense is still quite porous.

They obviously made some critical adjustments after the shakeup up a few weeks ago....but they still have a ways to go before they can be called a good defense.

Watching Byard get singled out and picked on yesterday was concerning.

He’s been playing out of position almost the whole year, but yeah that was tough to watch. You never like to see that type of look in a player’s eyes where they know there isn’t shit they can do.

He did have a great open field tackle on a big 3rd down play that seemed to get his head right. He was better in the second half.

Yeah. He just seems to get lost in man coverage and even when he's in position he almost looks surprised when the ball arrives. It's not a good look. He is much better playing a single-high or deep third. He's never been an an amazing tackler but he almost looks hesitant to make contact this season.

Those first couple drives were rough. They were literally targeting him up and down the field. Hate to say it, but he’s been one of the weak links.

Glass half full approach, we know he’s extremely talented. He could easily turn it around as the defense solidifies around him. If we can get the defense humming going into the playoffs we are a dangerous team.

The point total to the Bears and yesterday is misleading

I think Teair Tart is proving he can play in this league. He's made a handful of impact plays the past few games.

Has a really nice swim move and solid rip move. He laid a great hit on Rivers and pulled up at the right second to not get the roughing call.

Plays with a lot of power, theirs a lot to like about him.  Definitely offers more than Dickerson at this point.

It all got better when we got Borders and King. We were able to start getting more pressure on the QB. Not necessarily big sack numbers but enough to keep the QB from standing in the pocket and picking us apart. The Colts stayed with us until we started making Rivers move the pocket.
