Coaches have effectively guaranteed contracts. Cincy paid him to do nothing. If he had taken a job, he probably wouldn’t have earned any more money. There was a rumor that he could become a coach in the XFL, so maybe they kind of put him on retainer but who knows what he actually did with his time in 2019. Callidus Posted February 6, 2020 Report Share Posted February 6, 2020 Reading up on him (only remember his as saints hc) he ran a multiple from zone blitz scheme but he also has run a defense like ours when he had 2 because of injuries and limitations.
