So, you believe JRob and Vrabel are both incompetent?

Not necessarily. We don't know for sure what happened. But whoever wanted MM to start 6 games made a grossly incompetent decision, for possible self serving reasons.

I think it's why Robinson is less visible.  He either has to acknowledge that he was the driver on Mariota starting and seeing it tank the season OR blame his boss/owner and come across as weak.  Neither is a good look.

He’s the only reason this season has a chance. He traded for a legitimate QB. How often does a team trade for a good QB? The answer is almost never.

The Titans hired a first time GM and do you honestly think drafting a Heisman winner means anything?   Mariota was never a huge draw and the Titans sure never got a ton of national exposure because of it.

The NFL wanted a clear face of the ownership group that was totally engaged.  They also wanted the team to be competitive and draw well.  How they did it (i.e. front office choices, personnel) was irrelevant.

I believe I could make the argument that JRob represented stabilization of the team to the other owners.. and the other owners had to notice she had direction to build around MM .. remember stabilization of the Titans increased the value of all of the other teams.

Up and down he had mine three or four straight 4K around 30 tds seasons.

if you don’t know what you talking about don’t talk

It was 3 seasons...couple with 24 and one with 27 tds..but around 30 tds does sound better

he also had like 20 interceptions each of those years...see what I did there?

If his career was so great I don't think he would have started the year on a one year deal as a back-up to Mariota.

He's had an up and down career.

Feel free to keep talking but at least know your place.

I wouldn't say that.  Mariota was in a lot of big name commercials in the first few years.  Nothing like a Mayfield, but for a Titan's player being in big NIke ads and starring in the Heisman house shit was bigtime.

I remember Mariota in the Heisman House stuff but that's a college commercial aimed at college fans.  I remember a Beats commercial at one time.

Thank god he didn't speak or mumble in the commercials.

There was that big Animal House Nike commercial.

Yeah with all of the Oregon players, Mariota being the star as that film was filmed in Eugene.  I remember the commercial being run during college football games.  It was not an NFL targeted thing.

Beats was the only one I recall that was NFL centric.

Thank you. Happy holidays to you!!

Can you imagine how tough of a decision it must have been for them to toss your tard ass to the curb? Make sure to repay them with some sound Touched The Tard stock market advice. Moms “good chair” didn’t look very good. Might have had something to do with who was sitting in it though.
