2 of those 3 guys missed most of the offseason. And rishard never had any problems with intelligence in the past.

also Taylor has been balling out so I hardly think he needs to be on our dumb guy list either

?

I will give you that Rishard and Evans missed most of the offseason and that could be contributing to why they're having trouble mastering the schemes.

In Evans' and Taylor's case though, one of the knocks on both of them coming out was that you couldn't put too much on their plate and just have to let them play. Taylor was in a highly elementary college scheme, so he's probably behind the other guys in terms of learning/understanding NFL offenses.

I'll also say again that listening to Evans/Taylor and watching them, you can tell that they're smart people - so I'm not sure what the disconnect is there when it comes to football.

Do you understand the difference between dumb and slow?  I didn’t think so.

tgo is way nicer than I am. I'd have shit all over any moron that called me racist.

Fuck you you old bitch. I bet you think Nick Williams is a gym rat and Corey Davis is an "athlete". I've seen your dumbass in the political forum.

Tgo is actually smart and I misjudged his comment. You can eat a bag of dicks

My bad. I misjudged your initial post. I just feel like whenever a "dumb player" is discussed it's always a black player. I mean Jake locker, Manziel, and plenty of other white guys never got that treatment when they deserved it by comparison.

So again, my bad. But fuck oldschool

Lol. The bitch here is you for completely misconstruing a post and calling someone racist. Stay classy and poor dumb fuck. I now know I don't need to worry about your dumb ass as I climb the ladder of life.

Yep. He seems like an intelligent person too, so I don't understand this.

Why draft a guy who isn't a field general to man the field general position on defense?

Not saying I don't agree with the pick or that I'm already that down on Evans, but it's kind of weird. Aren't they supposed to be drafting "smart" players according to Robinson?

Not sure Taylor, Evans, Rishard Matthews fit that mold.

Tgo is nervous again....

I almost forgot to answer your question - in what ways do they seem dumb to me?

Because Matthews and Taylor can't seem to learn the offense, and Evans can't seem to learn the defense. That's why. Because Vrabel keeps saying repeatedly that you "can't overload them" or "can't put too much on their plate at once" and "can't make them think to much, you want them to play fast and aggressive."

The same reason why Kendall Wright wasn't a smart player. Or Kenny Britt.

Seems obvious to me.  Matthews missed the whole offseason and training camp!

Lol classic dumb, smug, old hag thing to say. I know you're not climbing any ladders because one step would give your fat ass a heart attack. Enjoy your rocking chair you breathing turd.

Listened to the second half of the podcast.

You guys know we just won a division game right? It was so negative, especially regarding Mariota.

Personally, the nerve never healing line of discussion does not do much for me. He looked better yesterday, lets see how he looks today and if he starts I'll go from there. I want to see this offense in a full game with Mariota which could well be this Sunday.

Thanks for the effort, appreciated the discussion.

Guy called in on the radio yesterday, said he had the same injury as Mariota three years ago - says when he goes to lift weights now he still has issues with the elbow. Says it still affects him.

I thought we were both complimentary of the division win but the gloom going ahead is based on reality, and I honestly hope I’m wrong. There is a scenario which I laid out the team improves

I heard that. Let’s hope that not the case here...
