Once reality sets in for Irsay, Colts will have to sit down with Peyton, push back his roster bonus, and come up with a deal that three parties (Colts, Peyton, trading team) can agree to. That's the only way out other than straight out cutting him. They can't have both Peyton and Luck on the team at the same time. The cap numbers just don't work.

That means Peyton has veto power over where he goes and it will have to be a contender or potential contender. The 49ers sound like a good fit to me.

LOL

Such idiots.

Boy those Colts were really after Fisher.

lol, it was like the Colts pretended Caldwell was staying just while Fisher was still sniffing, hoping to convince him not to come by and "interview them", and as soon as he signed the deal with STL, wham, Caldwell goes.

Really though what is with this? The Colts weren't even interested in interviewing him?

What a mess of a roster, front office and coaching staff. Shows just how freaking good Manning is, take him off the roster and this mess makes the Raiders look half way stable.

I don't post every time you morons get something completely wrong either.....So what's your point?

You were pretty vocal about your belief the media guys have much better sources than us simpleton fans and we should trust them over ourselves.

My point is you were wrong again.

i don't think they wanted Fisher and I'm pretty sure he didn't want them. He's already survived one A-Hole owner.....he doesn't want to deal with another.

"Survived"? I'd say he flourished being given a pass for longer than any other zero ringed HC in NFL history. Bet his bank account can support that.

Outside of VY, what did Bud do that was so A-Hole ish anyway? Give him unprecedented leniency on expectations for close to two decades? Force a GM on him? fire the under the table extensions to failed coordinators Fisher tried to push through? the nerve! Maybe if Fisher had proven more by 2006 Bud wouldn't have felt the need to impart his stupidity on him anyway. In a way, it was all Fisher's fault ;)
