But Looney, WCS, Klay and Dlo are missing from it. Who else? Iggy is still on that roster.... Glenn Robinson III and our draft picks. We are waiting on Livingston to make his decision too. Once he does we will finish out the roster. I don’t see us signing anyone more than a rotational bench player.

I doubt he will be as happy if he is in a similar role with the lakers. It's astonishing how far someone will go to try to act like he didn't play really well whenever he was on the court... As I said, if he finished the season healthy (not anything Jake said was going to be an issue from the start of the thread) then you would have been even more ecstatic for all he was able to contribute last season. He'll actually be healthy for the start of the year. From there on, we'll see. It is a completely different situation because he won't be surrounded by 4 All-Stars like he was in Golden State last season. Instead of Curry, Klay, Draymond, and Durant he will be teamed up with LeBron, Anthony Davis, Danny Green, and someone else (Bradley?). This team is not even close to what the Warriors had last season. The Lakers should make the playoffs, but they won't go that deep. Oiler FANatic
Golden State basically has two very different ways they can choose to handle their star players next season. They can attempt to earn a playoff spot by having both Curry and Draymond starting almost every game while averaging close to 35 minutes per game, as well as D'Angelo Russell doing the same, trying to compete in a very tough Western Conference until they get Klay Thompson back with around 27 games left in the season. The problem with doing this is none of those three players really has the durability to pull it off successfully. Over the past 3 seasons Draymond has missed an average of 11 games, Curry 16 games, and Russell 18 games. Plus they will have to rely on Alec Burks as their primary backup to Curry and Russell, and he has missed an average of 25 games over the past 3 seasons. The only durable veterans on the team right now that they can count on playing anything close to 82 games are Willie Cauley-Stein and Kevon Looney. Since they'll be forced to play at least 55 games without Klay, they would be wise to use load management with their star players like so many other teams are doing these days. This will hurt their chances of making the playoffs, but it will also help them avoid serious injuries to Curry and Green. The Lakers will definitely have a better record than the Warriors. But that's not really saying much, is it? It's almost a certainty that Klay won't play this season and Golden State is getting bitch-slapped on national TV at home in their opener.
Oiler FANatic
Of course now that Boogie Cousins is coming to Houston instead of LA everyone will say how he's washed-up and the Rockets will suck......
