With claws? The ape is toast. titanruss, and reo

Yeah it would seem that the only advantages the gorilla would have would be a thumb so he could grab and pull better and he's probably a bit smarter but I highly doubt that'd be enough. Popular Post Stranger
I was out shopping with the family and I just so happened to stumble upon this very scenario. I think you guys might be surprised at the answer. That should settle this debate as the gorilla is clearly superior. Just pure ignorance. People act like Grizzlies are the strongest animal or something. Other than insects, Gorillas are the strongest animal on the planet lb for lb. Bears are strong but their strength is about 80% of their weight. Gorillas is 6-10x their weight. That is much much stronger. Bears are still stronger and as a general rule, bigger and stronger wins.

FWIW, I do think If there was a 10ft Gorilla and a 10 Ft Grizzly locked in cage that the gorilla would win. but that would never happen... because in that world of 10 ft gorillas then the bears would be 20 ft
