Ideally, we are never going to get a bonafide stud coming out of college at the pass-rushing position. If they think they can develop the guy at 25 to take over for those guys then it is well worth it. If you just straight up not sold on those guys' potential as a pro but even though it's a day 1 pick it's short-sighted as hell to say that the guy has to be a week 1 upgrade. You have to be able to cover and the longer your CBs can cover, the longer your pass rush has to get there. I obviously don't have hard stats but I'd wager that coverage sacks occur more often than the instant sacks where a DL beats an OL in 3 seconds or less. Rak and Morgan got close a ton of times last season. With Butler in the fold, maybe they can finish some of those almost-sacks now. Yep!
