I think rosters are pretty big already, especially with IR, and you don't want (I don't want) zero players of value in FA. Yeah, there are already 5 IR spots. And we've got more bench space than just about any league I've ever played in.

Based on that model, although I disagree with Stafford's value. I gained 4 points. Mayfield is 20 above and Chris Thompson is valued as 17 points on the same chart but I only pasted QBs. I really should have tried to trade near equal value and gotten Brady and Brees for Stafford. Could have thrown in McCown to guarantee it! I missed out. 9 Nines
Oh my dear. Based on this article, about fantasy football mistakes to avoid, we are all messing up in this draft. We are all doing the number one mistake it advises you avoid: Rookie Mania In the immediate wake of the NFL Draft, this is one of the most important things to remember. Most rookies will fail. Even more of the rookies will fail to make an impact their first year. This year’s draft class has a ton of talent, but it is foolish to assume that all of the rookies are going to come in and immediately overtake all of the starters. It’s not going to happen. Sure, every season will have a Kareem Hunt and an Alvin Kamara. But every season will also have a John Ross and a Corey Davis. I am not suggesting that you should ignore rookies completely, just merely to exercise caution. Treat rookies like the unknowns that they are. During your draft, there will be a time to draft for ceiling and a time to draft for floor. Balancing the two is essential. Rookies are mostly ceiling plays. Obviously, Sony Michel has RB1 upside on the Patriots, but he also has a floor of unstartable. Keep that in mind when deciding if you want to take a shot on a rookie. Only a moron would expect their rookies to perform week in and week out and base their weekly roster on rookies at this point of the year. 2 hours ago, 9 Nines said: Any roster expansion? Fuck no, again.. No one in their right mind would want that. It doesn't take skill just accumulating as much shit as possible never making a tough roster decision. This is already an unnecessarily large bench and massive IR spots that diminishes skill a crazy amount.

It's a dynasty league with the only draft a 3 round rookie draft. It's a deep bench for a reason.

I get that but it's still probably a larger bench than other dynasty leagues... obviously it is not supposed to be on the same scope as redrafts but at this point there are very few ridiculously tough choices to make in terms of finding space to stash guys. We still have plenty of space to have our roster, have our young guys waiting to take their starting role/potential and then there are more than enough spaces to keep guys you have a hunch on or want to take a flyer. When guys are on bye, usually all you have to do is just drop the guy you are hoping to hit the lotto on and very rarely are you dropping a commodity that people will immediately want to scoop up and actually bid each other for. IMO that defines an unnecessarily large bench.
