I don't think Robinson is going to replace Cyprien already and I also don't think DL "has to Blitz", he wants to blitz

I haven't verified this, but I read that we dropped people in to coverage a lot and rushed 4 from various places quite a bit. I know we blitzed too, but seems like they played coverage and just ran exotic 4 man rush schemes more than usual.

Tye Smith was a huge pickup off the street. Bounced around the league, signed to a futures deal, and spent time developing on the practice squad.

I think one of the best aspects of this regime (both FO and coaches) has been identifying these back-end roster types, bringing them in, and developing them very well.

They played the same offense the entire game.

Bad execution is why they started off poorly. This has been their MO all season. The young players take a little while to settle down and get going.

But yes, they can't afford that kind of start against NE.

They did this a lot more against the Rams as well. I think LeBeau is finally coming back around to the part where good offenses destroy man blitzes.
