Bongo59
I am not a Cyp fan but against run heavy teams like Jax and KC he is an asset. There are too few of those teams left in the playoffs.

I know we blitzed too, but seems like they played coverage and just ran exotic 4 man rush schemes more than usual.
gaskill15
If you were to tell me a few weeks ago that Tye Smith would be playing a couple more defensive snaps than Logan Ryan and be a big part of a 2nd half shut out in Arrowhead I woulda called you fuckin crazy. Bongo59
I still think Reed is an untapped asset.
tgo
Tye Smith was a huge pickup off the street. Bounced around the league, signed to a futures deal, and spent time developing on the practice squad. I think one of the best aspects of this regime (both FO and coaches) has been identifying these back-end roster types, bringing them in, and developing them very well. Bongo59
He did. And that was against really good WR. I expect him to play in NE.
Bongo59
I think Williamson and Cyp snaps will be limited in NE.
Alcibiades
I doubt they do it, but I'd look at Reed at Safety against the Patriots, when they try to spread us out. Get those best DBs out there.
AvgJoe
Looks like the DB spots are taking care of themselves which is huge. More picks and money can be spent on pass rush and LB.
SleepingTitan
Jrob & DLB certainly have an eye for dbs. Kind of amazing actually. Now get a Von Miller.

This has been their MO all season. The young players take a little while to settle down and get going. But yes, they can't afford that kind of start against NE. I think LeBeau is finally coming back around to the part where good offenses destroy man blitzes.
GLinks
With the way CB is shaping up, I’m hoping we can get someone to replace McCain next year.
