It was a well-played game on both sides with no turnovers and only five penalties for each team. Even so, where do the Titans need to improve? OILERMAN Posted September 14, 2017 Report Share Posted September 14, 2017 I forgot to mention how much faith the coaches had in Jayon Brown, they left him out in man coverage against Cook multiple times and he held up really well. Have to make one small comment though it was probably unintentional, Jonboy. You start off by saying you haven't attended a game since 2008. Then you say you were ready to go off on the fans on if they weren't loud enough in the stands. They had me prepared for the worst in terms of lackluster fan support and opposing teams taking over. If that worst case scenario had played out, then I was prepared to go on a podcast rant urging local fans to do better. As it turned out, I was pleasantly surprised by the excitement and support, even if there were still too many Raider fans there. But fully solving that issue is more on the team. They have to start winning home games consistently again. When I lived there, I was there every week and watched the fan experience slowly deteriorate to where you could hear a pin drop on 3rd downs. Now that I moved away, I admittedly don't get to come to the games as often. I would just love to see the team have more passionate fan support. But perhaps that's on me as a passionate fan to make it to more games even if I don't live close anymore . @freakingeek and others have helped me understand what the Nashville scene is like now though. If the Titans start winning, more support from locals and passion during games should come. Which is why I said the Titans have to step up and do their part. On reflection, and not that it matters but just for clarification... there's no way 2008 was my last time there because I remember seeing Locker against the Saints and maybe one other after that. Mrs. Tex and I realized this past weekend, despite attending our 4th game in Nashville, we've yet to witness a home win. Maybe it is our bad karma??
