headhunter
As a frequent visitor to South Carolina you can add the Steelers to that state. I guarantee they like more teams that are not the Panthers
Cornrow Wallace
I call bullshit. Maine definitely does not root for the Steelers. I'd say at least 75% Pats fans - especially since 2001. I don't know more than a few Steelers fans.
nine
Here's what I find surprising: not only are the world-champion Patriots not the local favorite in Rhode Island (their own backyard)....they didn't even get 15% of the vote.   In fact, the Patriots weren't voted a favorite team anywhere outside of their home state......rather surprising. It appears that most of the New England geographical area is actually Steelers country. Steelers are also the most popular team in....Nevada?  How the hell does that happen? Yeah, I'd say this assessment is far more accurate than the Forbes poll results.   People love a winner.....and I'll guarantee you every bandwagon jumper in that area has reserved a seat on the Belichick Express at some point in the past fifteen years.
EagleEye
Hawaii has been a 49er favorite for a long time. 2nd was the Raiders but when they move to Vegas, that could change to #

titanruss
titans are bordered by 8 states. 4 of those dont have NFL football teams: alabama arkansas kentucky missisippi and by proximity.. south carolina. we should be pulling hard to get these states on board.  Start with Kentucky. Huge border. Many Tennesseans history runs through KY... and they support the Bungles the most. Should be Territory #1.

No1TitansFan
Ticket sales through Ticket Exchange is a bullshit demographic to measure popularity by, most fans never attend a game;Â and it's skewed badly towards older fans with money (you're paying face value or way over). Steelers are popular because they were so dominant in the 70s and that's who a lot of those fans grew up watching in their heyday. Connecticut is interesting, it's pretty well split between the Pats and Gmen; but if you want have fun, go into a CT bar and start a Yankees-Red Sox debate. I remember as a teen going to the local tavern to pick up a pizza and watching fist fights break out over it. Â

It's the name Tennessee that fucked em. Nashville knights or something would have been better for surrounding sec states. I do think ky would be less likely to hate than the others. And the proximity to Nashville is important. Almost the entire state of Kentucky is closer to Nashville than Memphis.

HigherLogic
I'm calling bullshit on the Broncos being the most popular team in New Mexico. As much as I hate them, it is the Dallas Cowboys, no doubt about it. Broncos/Raiders/49ers have a lot of support, but nowhere near what the Cowboys do.
