If we stay were we are I want to go Foster then Lattimore. Get rid of woodyard put him in with Williamson.

Opinions?

1st off I would challenge the notion that Foster is or will be an elite player.  He plain isn't.

2nd I would point out that IF Foster were an elite player, he would be replacing Williamson.  There are two separate ILB positions.  Foster fills the one of the more traditional, responsible run-gap mike backer.  He isn't a good fit for the more WLB-type ILB, with differeing coverage responsibilities, that Woodyard has been playing.

Foster could player either inside LB position and would be better than Woodyard and Williamson.

Hooker is the best pure FS prospect I've seen since Earl Thomas. If J-Rob decides to go with Adams or not take a safety at all, I of course trust his judgement over mine. But this kid will be a stud.

Do we run enough single high to make up for his poor run play?

I don't know what we plan to do in that regard but I do know that the parts of his game that can't be coached more than make up for the parts that are super coachable.
