There was nothing absurd about it at all

He counted on the KC offense to go into a shell, they did

He expected Mariota to get the ball back and get in FG range, he did

He expected this to take all the time, it did

I don't think Mularkey thought this through like you did.

And your bullshit moonshot of 10-6 is still alive which we know is what this thread is really about.

Would you have been happier had the game been tied, KC marched down and kicked a game winner instead?

I would have been happier with a tie. You don't know that KC would have marched down the field.

It was more Reid's foolishness than Mularkey's genius.

Mularkey outcoached Reid today

Moron failed two challenges and tried to give it away with this call. This is a week to point to the scoreboard and rely on that, not decision making.

Look, Mike gave his team the opportunity to win it on that play. If you're the defense, you appreciate that. EVEN IF IT FAILS (which it did). And as you saw on the next drive, the defense rewarded the faith that Mike put into the team by making the big play. It was absolutely the right call because it was a winning call.

I thought you had to challenge the spot as at the time that seemed critical.

Andy Ried's timeout and Ryan Succop's extra chance won the game.

This is irrelevant, the Titans kickier was in position to win the game. Whether the kick was made doesn't change the thought process

My preseason prediction has no bearing on the correct decision Mularkey made to go for two
