I hated the playcalling today. How many 3rd and 1's did the TItans throw a fifteen yard out route? At least two or three times. They were gashing the Colts on the ground.

Two, and both times the WR was wide open and the pass was terrible

Same thing on a 3rd and 5

Because they can make Mariota hit wide open WRs when they call the plays?

I still think the offense is an issue and doesn't fit Mariota but I'm with you now. The bigger issue is the lack of progression into a franchise qb by Mariota. All the things people said he couldn't do or wasn't asked to do at Oregon are coming home to roost. The exception being arm strength. I'm starting to get nervous about his long term prospects.

My main concern is his consistency. It varies week to week, hell even drive to drive.

Hey, I said a few weeks ago I understand the people that say the Titans need to incorporate more of what he did in college. I don't exactly agree but I understand it, they have done some of it too.

Bottom line is he's too bad consistently to execute a good offense over extended games

It shouldn't have been this close.  The refs helped the Titans a lot today.  And Indy dropped several balls.

Indy was just better than the Titans today.  It's that simple.

How does this team get to 10 wins?

Good God no, a dominant defense and easy schedule drug VY to 10 wins

The point is is the Titans could get 10 wins with Mariota.  They could have easily won today despite Mariota's shaky day.

Team game.
