Who hasn't fallen asleep in a sinking car?

An officer came knocked on the passenger's side window and “the driver (Denard Robinson) opened his eyes and then went back to sleep," the report detailed.

The female passenger then "woke up and rolled down the window and said 'what's up.'" She tried to roll the window back up, but the officer was able to unlock the door and start helping Robinson and the female exit the vehicle.

“The driver was passed out during this whole process. I was able to wake the driver but had to turn the vehicle off and remove his seatbelt. The driver thought he was on a road and did not want to exit the vehicle,” the report said.

I had to tell the driver multiple times his car was in a pond and was sinking so he needed to hurry up and get out,” the report continued.

According to the report, “The driver tried about three times to open the driver’s door which was the side that was underwater. I had to keep reminding the driver to climb out of the passenger side because his door was in the water.”

The report stated that an officer determined that Robinson was not impaired: “Ofc. M.T. Borgert ID#6520 was on scene to screen the drive for impairment. Ofc. Borgert felt the driver was not impaired and the officer recognized the player and felt he should not be charged with DUI. No citations were issued.”

This explains his career a good bit.

All time FBS career leader in  rushing yards by a quarterback despite not playing hardly at all his freshman year and a head  coach who tried his darnest to take him out of the spread system he excelled at his final 2 years in school along with missing multiple games to injury; had multiple games where he put up over 500 yards of total offense. One of very few running QBs able to successfully transition to a different position in the NFL. You should dream about having a career half as successful. Are you one of the top 100 CPAs in the country?

What kind of DUI screen do they give in Florida anyway ... must just have to utter some sounds or something to pass. I mean you are passed out, no clue where you are, in a wrecked vehicle ... but able to pass a DUI screen.

Reminds me of this motorcycle safety course I took several years ago. The class was 2 days long, and you had to complete a course with different obstacles at the end to pass and get your license. This old guy (who had never ridden in his life) was there and dropped the bike multiple times throughout the 2 days ... but on the very last test, he managed to stay upright and not hit a single cone (even though he went like 5 mph and was very wobbly the whole time). End the end though he passed and got his license ... I can't imagine him riding it on the highway somewhere.
