This one has to be near the top since they lost 2 of the 3 games at home. I think this has to be the biggest choke in the NBA. You set the record for wins in a season and hold a 3-1 lead then blow it. all you have to do is win one. This one has to be near the top since they lost 2 of the 3 games at home. Im not trying to make excuses for the guy but I think the injuries were hurting him more than it appeared. Flash and acrobatics don't win you championships. Thompson threw the Warriors on his back several times in this series and willed them back in games. Ultimately, there was just too much fight in Kyrie and Lebron tonight. Also lost in the slobbering over Lebron James is the ridiculousness of Kyrie Irving. He abused whoever tried to guard him. I completely disagree. Klay is a spot up shooter who cant create anything on his own. He is a very good defender which he has over Curry but he doesnt have half the skill set on the offensive side that Curry has. Steph played horrible no question, but he's still a terrific player and certainly has the makings of a hall of fame player. Kobe had Shaq. Bird, Duncan, Magic all had a lot of help. I think people forget how good Pippen was. Kawhi Leonard reminds me a lot of Pippen and he's one of the best in the league. No other nba great has ever done that, nor ever had to do all of that, for his team to win a championship. Lebron, great and deserving Finals MVP.
