Nah, most of my posts consist of subtle mockery.... I sure as hell know nothing about X's and O's so I do what I can to embody the Live Fast and Die Young TR lifestyle

He'll be serious once Conklin beats him out for the LT spot.

Suppose he does, then you want to move Lewan to RT? Even if Conklin is better than Lewan at LT, he's still at his best playing RT.

If Conk is the better LT you have to play Conk there. Lewan would be fine Rt or LT.

Neither way we have bookend OTs and a franchise QB for seems the next decade.

Couldnt be happier.

I wanted OT all the way.

The good thing for Lewan and the rest of the OL is that Grimm is giving them all a clean slate .... (old article) http://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/nfl/titans/2016/02/10/new-o-line-coach-russ-grimm-offers-titans-clean-slate/80195330/

“We’re starting fresh — we’re going to be a clean slate and I’m going to see what they can do when they get in here,” Grimm said Wednesday. “I’m not going to make any early judgments on last year or the year before — or if a guy’s been hurt, or this or that."

Not this crap again. Lewan is not hanging around to play RT for a decade.

We may have our foundation in place.. at this point the team needs some coaching and development, and its hard to see more than a few spots to try and upgrade through the waiver wire..i.e. can we find a true #1 receiver on the waiver wire? or another starting cb? the answer to both is no.. we might find a replacement for Pitotui, or Supernaw, or a 3rd down back better than we have but that's about it for this summer..

I ran into Lewan and his fiance today at the farmers market. I walked up to him and told him I was a fan of his and wished him good luck on the season.

He turned around and just started bsing with me and my wife for a bit.  She asked if we could take a pic and he obliged.  We shook hands and walked away.

Guy is really cool and also very charismatic.  You could tell he would be a blast to hang out with.

I dont meet a lot of players and wanted to share.

If Conklin is better at RT than LT, and Lewan is better at LT than RT, why play them both at their weaker position then?

I think you choose the most effective OL combination.

When Montana was asked how he felt about Young waiting to take over, he said that throughout his time with Walsh, even after winning Superbowls, his spot was never assured.

Good GMs/Coaches will put the best OL combination on the field, whether that means switching Lewan and Conklin, or even getting rid of them both.  No spot is assured just because of draft position.  Reporters seem to think the Jaguars may move on from Joeckel (#2 overall).
