Hopefully one slips to us at 33, though I think the FO may be content with what we have. Casey is a stud, DQ Jones came on strong, Blackson is talented & showed, and Klug is a nice interior rusher. Need a nose though.

If you're drafting a NT to be a run clogger and you leave Jones at DE, that's two guys on your DL who don't you give much pass rush. I'd rather add another guy opposite Casey who can rush the passer and put Jones at the nose. That's why I don't like the idea of Damon Harrison. He gives you no pass rush and you have to take him off the field a lot. Not worth it.

Add in Pitoitua who is a potential cap cut and they currently have 5 players on the DL.  They need 7 minimum.

This will be a great year to see what JR has as a talent evaluator.  It looks like there is a lot of talent at all the positions of need for the Titans.  Everywhere except QB.  In three years, maybe less the team should have a real core.  I think he will be smart to draft in that direction and not worry about public opinion about what the team needs at the present.   That's another reason I think if they feel Tunsil is going to be special, he's the pick.  Lewan can go elsewhere and play LT for a team that wants him.  The reason JR got the job is because Webster didn't stock the team with top quality draft picks.  It would make much sense to not draft the best player for the team's future because it upset one of Webster's picks.

Any Mississippi State fans here? I've seen their DT Chris Jones flash some serious potential, had some Haynesworth-esque moments. His stats aren't so great so I guess you could say he hasn't played up to his potential so far...Haynes again.

Before we start taking a 2-3rd DT/NT.

Can I just put in here that I think Angelo Blackson is poised for a second year breakout. He looked very impressive in limited snaps last year and is the perfect size for DE in LeBeau's system.

My Theory

A dominant NT in FA like Harrison and take Bosa and move him around all over the place. Resign Zach Brown to reasonable money and draft a mid round to late ILB thumper like MCKinzey and I think we will be loaded at the front seven.
