I actually like Robinson a little bit more than Ballard. I like the fact that TB in the past few years did a very good rebuilding their OL and have put good skill players around Winston. Seemed like most of the guys Ballard is credited for are defensive guys. Doesn't mean he can't draft offense, but it's a little more uncertain for me.

Cool.

Hopefully this guy knows what it takes to some talent in here.

I bet Ballard was not hired because he had strong opinions which led them to think he might not play well with others (probably their #1 trait), and that he wouldn't accept a Mularkey hire.

Dude be happy. People that did research on our candidates were pretty much in the same camp. Ballard/Robinson = good hire, the rest = bad.

I know, I know. I'm 1) allowed to have my preferences and 2) just trying to get in Jonboy's gif-per-page quota.

This may have been the edge, but I think both are exceptional talent evaluators across the board. You only need to look at the drafts they've been involved with.

To me, the best GM is the one who can best build around MM. Looking at Robinson's resume, I like it a little bit more for us.

Makes you wonder about Ballard. Two off seasons now, looks great on paper, but interviews horribly. I'm curious what it is.

It must've been close if it took them like three days to decide.
