Boss is currently listed at 6'6 280

bet he's more like 6'5 270

he could add weight and be the same size. He's pretty athletic. I'd wait until the combine to say a prolific highly rated player who looks like an athletic freak is not as athletic as another guy who is the same height but heavier from several years ago

We will both see the numbers at the same time!

If you put 2011 Watt and 2015 Bosa in the same draft, Bosa gets picked first ten times out of ten.    Ok, maybe 9 times out of 10, but you get the point.   This isn't hard.  Stop being obtuse because you misrepresented what a "prospect" was and for some reason severely underrate Bosa compared to the other 95% of the world.

Right, nothing!  You have nothing!

Lol. From the very article you just linked.

But comparisons like this are reductive and silly. Watt had just 11.5 sacks total in his two seasons at Wisconsin; you may recall Bosa racking up 13.5 in 2014 alone. This also ignores the fact that sacks don't tell the whole story of a defensive lineman's talent. Bosa -- who is still young, and has tons of time to add size/strength -- has just five sacks in 2015, but in 11 games has tallied 16 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and four pass breakups. He has put opposing QBs on the ground at an alarming rate. Per NFL.com, there's a burgeoning consensus among scouts that Bosa's ceiling is roughly Chris Long, of the St. Louis Rams. Given that NFL scouts also thought Jake Locker and Blaine Gabbert might be better picks than Cam Newton, we'd rather wait and see than speculate

That last sentence could also read:

Given that NFL scouts also thought Jake Locker, Marcell Darreus, Aldon Smith, and Blaine Gabbert might be better picks than JJ Watt, we'd rather wait and see than speculate

And if a scout looks at a player and says his ceiling is Chris Long, he should be burned at the stake for taking him in the top 60 picks.  Of course we know the draft in a crap shoot, or every first round pick would be an All Pro.  Scouts don't see him as you or the publications you read.

i dont think he will be as strong but i think he'll be as fast.

Bench press #'s are maybe the most useless test #'s at the combine, but I think Bosa plays with more strength than Watt. Bosa may run a similar 4.8 40, but may be a bit behind on the 10 yard, he's more of a long strider. But I think the biggest difference is Bosa will not come close to Watt's insane 6.88 3 cone. The 3 cone is one of the more important drills I think.

Just now looking over the draft. I never know much about the guys coming out until a couple weeks or months after the season. Right now I'm definitely thinking trade down. Maybe trade down and Jaylon Smith. None of the corners or other defensive guys look great.

I was using this:

Haven't looked any past their top 11 so far though. I'm sure I'll look into it more eventually.

Jaylon Smith just destroyed his knee and no one knows how serious it was yet.

He got a nasty knee injury in his bowl game.  Love him as a prospect too, but I doubt he's a first rounder given his recovery time.

There's only 2 really high level players in the draft - Tunsil and Bosa.

Bosa looks incredible every time and watched him, and Tunsil would be a great pick. The draft's best player at a position of critical need at tackle is never a bad pick.

Ramsey the S and Treadwell will both be way higher come draft day.........and I would take both of Bosa.  I would not touch the OT because of some of his off field issues with spice..........but Eziekel would also make TN a lot better.
