Russell Wilson is an elite-tier QB

It's not a slight on Wilson because they run the ball (in part because of him) great and therefore pass it less than other teams.  It's how they want to play and almost all of the time they impose their will and dictate the flow of the game.

Given a choice of running it 40 times or throwing it 40 times, Carroll (and most coaches) will run it when it works as effectively as their run game does.  They are not running it because they are afraid to have Wilson pass it.

This guy doesn't get the credit he deserves because he's on such a good overall team.   Wilson currently has 8 passing TDs to 1 INT, he has a 113 passer rating and is completing 70% of his p

Mariota could become the second player to do this with a 500-yard 5 TD performance this week!

Russell Wilson is carrying an offense like no QB has ever carried an offense:   Wilson is not only the Seahawks’ leading rusher with 401 yards on 65 carries, he is also on pace to set career

Lil Ryan or Stafford on Seattle would likely go 16-0

Not even close.

I feel like you are mistaking throwing for lots of yards with good quarterbacking.

Stafford is another Dante Culpepper, throwing to the most dominant WR of our generation. Ryan enjoyed arguably the best WR duo in the league for years. Even then they don't stack up.

It's not even worth debating any more.....

Wilson doesn't get injured and protects himself very well for someone who runs so much.

He passes the ball as effectively as any QB in the league and has the weakest supporting cast among top QBs. Efficient passing is what counts, not volume.

Last week not withstanding he doesn't make mistakes that loses games

When he has to bring the team from behind he's routinely succeeding

If I had to have a QB for next season he'd likely be in the top 3 or 4.

If looking at QBs for the long haul he might be close to #1 at his current age. The only guy who he has competition with is Luck and I'm not sure I don't like Wilson better.

That's a no brainer, but I'm talking about right now, next season

I'm as big of a fan of Wilson as there is, and I would take Rodgers if given a choice.  At least for the next couple seasons.  But this stat is incredible by any standard.

Wilson is 10-0 against Super Bowl winning QB's.  3-0 against Rodgers, 2-0 against Eli, 2-0 against Peyton, 2-0 against Brees, and 1-0 against Brady.  Even with the poor performance against Green Bay, he still has a 2-1 td:int ratio.  Dude just wins.  He goes 11-0 next week and wins back to back there might even be dynasty talk while he is still on his rookie contract.  That's amazing stuff.

Kearse ran a 4.43 at his pro day. Not exactly slow.

Every knows Kearse caught 63 balls for 1000 yards and 12 TDs with the great Jake Locker as his QB right......

Locker threw for 2200 yards that season and almost half of his yards were to Kearse.

I still can't get over the fact we drafted such a crappy college QB that early in the draft..

I see what you're getting at, but I'm not really into 40 times from years ago, especially at a pro day vs the draft. Same thing with the college stats, its 1,000 yards in college in the prolific PAC 12.

Ugh, don't even wanna think about Locker anymore. Can't wait til he's cut.

That "stat" about being 10-0 vs super bowl winning qbs has absolutely ∅ to do with his 10 points a game and 100% to do with the insane defense that he Has the luxury of playing with.

And yaa he's on his rookie contract

He's gonna get a 1000% raise in coming weeks.....he's gonna be asked to carry a team soon. Can he? One or two games a year...maybe...two to three seasons in a row..doubtful.

Ryan is actually a good qb, Stafford is not
