I wouldn't be so quick to dump Morgan.  His cap hit in 2016 isn't that bad and you never can have enough pass rushers.

I don't know why people are so down on Morgan he is a good overall player. He is not the problem Yeah you can do better then Norgan but you can also do a lot worse. He still young and under contract for several years.

A lot of other areas of the defenses can should be upgraded before even thinking about upgrading Morgan.

Bosa all the way.  Never, ever pass up a high quality pass rusher. Granted that there is always a risk with any pick, but this is one that the team really should take without a second thought.  Keep Morgan and Orapko.  Get a terror of an ILB in either FA or in mid-to-later draft.  WR and OL.  S or CB and move McCourty to safety.  Get speed, period.

It doesn't matter if the Titans play a 3-4 defense. Teams spend most of their time in nickel and dime defenses.

I saw where Bosa was playing inside and actually rushing very well.

A nickel DL with Orapko, Bosa, Casey and Morgan might be pretty damn good.

On top of that Orapko and Morgan miss a lot of time

This is what I was saying before, the 4-3 & 3-4 barely means anything before. It's almost become just a way to list a starting lineup. Khalil Mack plays OLB in a 4-3 but you can be damn sure he's lining up as an edge rusher on every single pass play.

We could very well win or last two games and be picking around #8.  It's too early to focus on one or two players.

Clowney and Watt gonna kill MM.  If Hasselback and Luck don't play then we might win that game.

Bosa at this point seems like the best pick for us.

Pretty much this.  Indy will have something to play for in Week 17.  And Houston has traditionally killed our OL.  I can't see that changing with Bell looking shitty in pass blocking the past few weeks.

Less then 50% of the defensive snaps have been in the nickel or dime package.

Not sure what it is now but up until week 9 they had us at 43% of defensive snaps in either dime or nickel packages.

I want nothing to do with Bosa. He would be an undersized 5 tech and I don't think a switch to OLB would benefit him. He is not agile enough He would be dropping back in coverage quite a bit in Lebeau's zone blitzing scheme I think he would get abused at OLB.

If he added 15 pounds he could possibly be a good 5 tech and able to hold up but a lot of his sacks and TFL have came from his bull rush and he's not going to be able to so easily over power tackles in the league.

His first step and explosiveness is already being questioned adding 15 pounds could hurt him more then help.

Im curious to see how he will do at the combine because if he really has a good showing  teams might consider him for a 5 tech or OLB depending on his athleticism and strength. I think he is a good player but I don't know I think he's best suited at DE in a 4-3

He kind of reminds me of KVB.

I don't think he is the best defensive player in the Draft The secondary needs more help and I believe Ramsey is the best defensive player in the draft.

But If they really wanted to upgrade the position they should open up the checkbook for Wilkerson he would really help this defense. With the cap going up 10 mill they could afford to overpay for Wilkerson. I would

If these numbers are correct it's only because the Titans are terrible and usually playing from behind, opposing teams are running out the clock a lot.

On 3rd down, in the 2:00 drill and when trying to protect a lead a defense is in the nickel/dime.

A year or two back I saw were Ware had 90% of his career sacks from DE in the nickel/dime

I'll take double digit sacks. That's elite to me.

What I mean is I don't think he's a Justin Houston, JJ Watt type sack artist. Maybe something like Ryan Kerrigan. I'd still take that given how good he is against the run, I just don't think he has the explosion of the truly elite guys
