Think about the fact Webster is obviously talking to other GMS right now and yet we are supposed to believe Walterfootball has a source that knows the Titans are locked in on Mariota. Does that make any sense? It does to those who want the Titans to take Mariota. And it doesn't to those like you and I who are hoping beyond hope that they either pass on Mariota or trade out. I just don't believe the building is full of people feeding critical information to various media sources. In fact I highly doubt many people in the organization know what Webster and Whiz are doing with the pick. They may have an idea but I doubt anything is set in stone. It's possible enough that the Titans couldn't come to any sort of a compromise, and are now leaking stuff to the press to try save face and make it look like he was absolutely the pick all the time. If so that terrifies me. Who know's right now though. Just posted it because it was interesting how he has been so sure on Mariota all year even when others weren't. Does that make any sense? I wouldn't be surprised if Walt (the site owner) knew some scouts. He's been doing amateur scouting for a long time and has probably met with a number of these regional scouts at the senior bowl or combine. That said, he probably doesn't have sources higher than that and unless Webster told the scouts that they're not trading the pick, I can't see how he would know.
